If you are a Canadian based clinician or scientist with an interest in IBD, consider becoming a member of CIRC.
If you have a research question or hypothesis, CIRC will:
- Make available to you to a large, diverse, and trans-national population of persons with IBD as potential study participants, providing you with the patient types necessary to best perform your study
- Connect you to sources of funding who share a common interest in determining the solutions to your specific research question
- Provide research expertise and infrastructural support to optimize and refine research activities through the various stages from conception through to completion
- Hold grant competitions to fund pilot studies and smaller research studies
If you are a IBD-focused clinician, becoming a CIRC member will:
- Allow you to attend educational events and symposia keeping you up to date on the results of clinically oriented Canadian research that can directly benefit your patients
- Provide your patients with the opportunity to enroll in CIRC studies and initiatives
